Why I made Gym0.

Privacy is a right. You shouldn’t have to give it up to understand your own training.

I wanted a training log that helped me understand my progress while keeping my training private. Something useful between sets, with my data staying on my own devices. That’s why I made Gym0.

Privacy is a right.

Your workouts reveal your routines, your health and how you spend your time. That information belongs to you. You shouldn’t have to give it up to understand your own training. Complete privacy is the foundation I’m building Gym0 on.

No telemetry, no ads and no tracking. Your training is stored and processed on your iPhone and Apple Watch. There’s no account to create and no developer server collecting your workouts. I don’t collect your training data, and it’s never a source of revenue.

Your paired devices, backups and Apple services are explained in the privacy policy, so you can see exactly where your data goes.

Fully bootstrapped.

Gym0 is currently fully bootstrapped. I’m funding and building it myself, without outside investment.

That gives me room to grow it at a sustainable pace and make decisions around what helps you train. There are no investor growth targets pushing me to collect more data, sell ads or keep you in the app longer.

Being bootstrapped doesn’t guarantee a better app. It does give me the freedom to keep Gym0 focused on useful features and privacy, and to earn money through optional paid features instead of your personal information.
